Gum Creek Station is a 200 km² pastoral lease which straddles the very backbone of the magnificent Flinders Ranges.  Spanning the northern boundary of the Flinders Ranges National Park, the property also affords easy access to a host of local attractions, including the stunning Brachina Gorge and the unique and historic town of Blinman.  Whilst staying at Gum Creek you will enjoy exclusive free access to our 4WD station tracks, day walks and mountain bike trails.

Relax, explore, exercise, get up close to wildlife, marvel at the night skies and enjoy clean and comfortable accommodation in a great setting.  Feel free to chat with your hosts to share their knowledge and experiences which span over seven generations on the property.

What you will need to bring along…..


Bedding: sheets, pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, towels (Mattresses and mattress protectors, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels provided)

  • Toiletries (Some toilet paper provided, shower body wash & hand wash provided)

  • Food (Two fridges provided)

  • Hot water bottles in the winter!

  • First aid kit

  • Camera

Please be aware that Gum Creek Station runs on a solar powered system for all of our electricity. The quarters has power outlets in main living and kitchen areas but bedrooms do not have access to power points. If for medical reasons you need power to your bedroom please contact us prior to arrival.

We kindly ask that you limit the amount of high power consumption appliances that you bring with you. (slow cookers, blow heaters, hair dryers, coffee machines etc.)
